Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Ireland invites applications for a Graduate Planner based in Cork. You will help purchase and deliver raw materials to support the production schedule aligned with patient demand, gaining exposure to Global Planning and Procurement teams.

The role is part of the Johnson & Johnson Campus Ireland Graduate Programme, offering hands-on development, cross-functional exposure on site and opportunities to work with senior management and gain project management experience.

Qualifications

• You are currently pursuing a minimum bachelor’s level degree in either Supply Chain Management or related Business discipline and are due to graduate in 2027.
• Customer focused ensuring that customer requirements are clearly planned for and communicated within the organization.
• Excellent computer proficiency e.g. MS Office, SAP
• Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and think out of the box to develop a solution.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and respond effectively to changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Execute the development, maintenance, communication, and publication of the Materials Requirements Plan (MRP) to ensure that patient requirements are met.
• Maintain Raw Materials and Components inventories within our goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials (SLOB).
• Contribute to the global balancing of Materials and Components within Global Planning, ensuring efficient and effective procurement and inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.
• Ensure that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time to meet plan requirements.
• Partner with Global Procurement to drive Supplier performance improvement including quality and timely delivery in line with MPS.
• Track and report site/platform level supplier service performance, communicating the information to the relevant parties.
• Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected/defective materials, making physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure a timely return of goods or disposal.
• Focus and encourage continuous improvements of the process supported.
• Support material and component Phase in and Phase out processes.
• Ensure a high level of integrity and implementation of Credo-based actions.
