Job summary

Sisk in Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering function on their projects, coordinating with the line manager and delivering engineering leadership for site activities, QA, and temporary works control.

The role involves setting strategy for on-site design and coordination, managing non-conformances, and overseeing surveys, method statements, risk assessments, and RFI processes, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality across piling, geotechnical and substructures.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in design management and coordination of temporary works.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinates with the line manager and provides Engineering Leadership for their project(s).
• Sets the strategy for Engineering setting out and onsite control, along with the Engineer and subordinates/supply chain.
• Primary reference for QA, record keeping and production ensuring quality procedures.
• Manages Temporary Works Control/Co-ordination and lifting operations where required.
• Reviews NCRs and supports timely close-out.
• Reviews and creates method statements and risk assessments.
