Job summary

Sisk Group in Ireland seeks a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering function on major projects. You will set out, control on-site activities, and ensure QA and testing procedures are followed across the works.

You will manage survey equipment, as-built surveys, permits to break ground, NCRs, and method statements, while coordinating with the project team to resolve technical issues and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Competent in the use of digital information systems (A-Site, Viewpoint for Projects).
• Significant experience in the design management process.
• Broad technical exposure: Piling, Geotechnical, Substructures (including Waterproofing).

Responsibilities

• Provides Engineering Leadership for the project(s) and supports QA, record keeping and production with quality procedures.
• Manages site surveys, as-built surveys and tolerances across interfaces to highlight issues.
• Controls Temporary Works and lifting operations as required and reviews NCRs.
• Reviews and creates method statements and risk assessments; manages permits to break ground.
• Coordinates information flow and RFI process with the project team.
