Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering function on major projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will set on-site engineering strategy, coordinate with the line manager, and ensure QA compliance and timely NCR closures.

You’ll oversee temporary works, lifting operations, surveys and interface risks across concrete, drainage, steelwork and brickwork trades, with a focus on quality control and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• B.Eng Civil Engineering or equivalent third level qualification.
• Temporary Works Coordinator training completed.
• Lifting operations awareness and CPCS lifting certification.
• Appointed Persons course completed.
• Scaffold awareness/inspection training.
• Experience with planning and programming software.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and set strategy for engineering on projects.
• Coordinate with line manager and QA to maintain quality procedures.
• Manage temporary works coordination and lifting operations.
• Oversee as-built surveys and dimensional control.
• Review non-conformances and close NCRs timely.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and RFIs.
