Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering function on major projects in Ireland. You will set strategy for on-site design control, coordinate with the line manager and act as the primary reference for QA, record keeping and quality procedures.

You will also manage Temporary Works and lifting coordination as required. You will review NCRs, permits, method statements, risk assessments and ensure timely closeouts while maintaining project interfaces and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Fully competent in underground services risk control
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with digital information systems like A-Site and Viewpoint
• Significant experience in design management processes

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering function on site and coordinate with line manager
• Set strategy for engineering design and on-site control
• Ensure QA, record keeping and adherence to quality procedures
• Manage Temporary Works coordination and lifting operations
• Review NCRs, permits to break ground and manage non-conformances
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Coordinate RFI process and identify missing information
