Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Cork is seeking an Associate Hydraulic Modeller to lead major hydraulic modelling projects from planning through to detailed design, while remaining close to technical work.

You'll have around eight years' experience in hydraulic modelling with advanced TUFLO W, ESTRY, Flood Modeller, GIS and strong project/stakeholder management. Hybrid/remote options apply across Ireland, UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Around eight years' experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk.
• Proven ability to lead and technically review modelling projects.
• Advanced TUFLOW/ESTRY and Flood Modeller experience with GIS.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex hydraulic modelling and flood risk projects from planning through to detailed design.
• Provide technical review and oversight of modelling work.
• Manage projects, clients and key stakeholders across Ireland and the UK.
• Mentor and develop less experienced modellers on the team.
• Support proposals, business development and cross-disciplinary work.
