Job summary

Marsh Mackey in Ireland seeks a Senior Service Support Engineer to join the HVAC division. You will blend technical sales support, estimation, and hands-on project involvement across diverse building types.

You\'ll work with senior engineers, contractors and suppliers to design, quote, specify, and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring energy efficiency and regulatory compliance while developing your professional skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• 5+ years in HVAC career.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or HVAC design software such as Hevacomp, IES VE, HAP.
• Fluent English and professional demeanor.
• Full clean driving licence (travel for site visits and training)

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, selection, and quotation of HVAC systems including MVHR, ductwork, pipework, chilled water, and heating/cooling solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, schedules, specifications, and tender documents.
• Support project delivery by liaising with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Attend site visits, assisting with surveys, inspections, and commissioning.
• Ensure HVAC designs meet energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory standards (ASHRAE, CIBSE, LEED, BREEAM).
• Stay current with building regulations, HVAC technologies, and best practices.
• Provide after-sales technical support and assist with service and maintenance queries.
• Report on activities and maintain organised project and diary records.
