Job summary

TLI Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on High Voltage Cable Design Engineering to deliver MV/HV cable systems for Irish grid connections with EirGrid and ESB Networks.

You will perform feasibility, planning, and detailed design, ensuring compliance with Irish and international standards, and contribute to planning packages, route analyses, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward it.
• Strong understanding of HV power systems and UGC design.

Responsibilities

• Cable system engineering for HV and MV networks.
• Lead cable sizing, routing, and installation feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with EirGrid/ESBN and IEC standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
