Job summary

Stantec Ireland is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in high voltage cable design to join our Energy team, working on HV cables for major infrastructure and renewable projects, contributing to design across FEED and detailed design phases.

Based in Ireland, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, support design activities from feasibility through delivery, and help address technical challenges for a sustainable energy future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; EI membership preferred.
• Experience in civil substation engineering and HV transmission projects.
• Design experience across Concept, FEED, and Detail Design using international standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead design activities for high voltage cable systems across FEED to detail design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders including EirGrid.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project delivery.
