Search Talent is partnering with an established and expanding construction group to appoint an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager to lead safety performance across a growing portfolio of projects in Ireland and Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious H&S professional who wants to move beyond managing individual sites and take ownership of safety standards, strategy and teams across multiple projects.

Our client delivers complex construction and specialist fit-out projects, operating in technically demanding environments where safety, quality and operational excellence are critical.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in shaping and driving the company's Health & Safety function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting H&S Advisors across multiple construction projects in Ireland and Europe.
• Developing and implementing H&S strategies, policies and procedures.
• Providing practical, commercially focused safety leadership to project teams and senior management.
• Overseeing audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Ensuring compliance with Irish and relevant European health and safety legislation.
• Driving a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
• Supporting project mobilisation, subcontractor compliance and continuous improvement.
• Acting as a senior point of contact for H&S matters across the business.

What We're Looking For

• Significant Health & Safety management experience within construction, main contracting or specialist contracting.
• A relevant H&S qualification, ideally degree-level or equivalent.
• Experience overseeing multiple sites and mentoring or managing H&S professionals.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety legislation, compliance and best practice.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, data centre or technically complex projects would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to European projects when required.
