ICDS (UK) Ltd in Dublin seeks a Health & Safety Manager to oversee H&S across construction projects, production, warehouses and offices. The role is predominantly office-based with site visits, offering a path from advisory to management responsibilities.
You will develop policies, monitor compliance, coordinate training, and lead audits and incident investigations while promoting a proactive safety culture.
We’re working with a well established shopfitting and commercial fitout contractor, delivering projects across the retail, commercial and office sectors. With a growing order book and continued investment in the business, they’re looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager.
Ideally, they’re seeking an established manager with strong leadership skills. However, they’re also open to experienced H&S Advisors or Health & Safety Officers looking to stepup into management, particularly those who can demonstrate the right technical knowledge, leadership potential and desire to progress.
Based at the company’s Dublin 12 head office, this is a predominantly office based position, with approximately 70 - 80 % of your time spent in the office and site visits as required. It offers a great opportunity for someone looking to moveaway from a heavily sitebased role while retaining involvement across a variety of projects and operations.
You’ll oversee Health & Safety across construction projects, production, warehousing and office operations, working closely with senior management, project teams and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities will include developing and improving H&S policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, coordinating training, overseeing audits and inspections, supporting incident investigations, and helping embed a proactive safety culture throughout the business.
Candidates with slightly less experience will also be considered if they can demonstrate the potential to meet the key requirements and grow into the role.
