Job summary

HireForce is partnering with a successful Irish private investment company to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant for its Dublin City office. The role offers broad responsibility within a small, hands-on team and exposure to group reporting, investments and commercial projects.

You will work closely with senior leadership, manage intercompany structures and support the external audit process, budgeting and cash flow reporting in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial reporting and technical accounting.
• Experience with group structures, consolidations or multi-entity setups.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for the group.
• Manage group consolidations and reporting across multiple entities.
• Prepare annual financial statements and support external audit.
• Monitor performance of investments and portfolio companies.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reports.
• Coordinate intercompany balances and transactions.
• Support cash management, funding needs and banking activities.
• Assist with accounting and administration of investment holding companies and SPVs.
• Liaise with portfolio company management and external advisers.
• Support tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Provide financial analysis for investments and commercial decisions.
• Assist acquisitions, disposals, due diligence and ad hoc projects.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and reporting processes.

Operating in a similar way to a family office, the company manages a diverse portfolio of investments across Ireland and Europe. Its interests span renewable energy, property, hospitality and a range of established SME businesses.

This is a broad, hands‑on position within a small and experienced team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to group reporting, investment structures, portfolio companies and commercial projects—working closely with senior decision‑makers across the business.
