Job summary

TOM People partners with a multinational high-growth organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant for their finance team. This newly created role supports growth and reports to the Head of Finance, based in South Dublin with hybrid working 3 days in the office.

The role covers monthly/quarterly/annual group reporting, consolidation, statutory statements, audits, controls and stakeholder finance insight to drive improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE.
• Big 4 or Top 10 trained preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting.
• Assist with group consolidation processes.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support enhancements of controls, processes and reporting capabilities.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to stakeholders across the business.
• Contribute to strategic finance projects and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad accounting role within a dynamic and growing organisation. The role reports directly into the Head of Finance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting
• Supporting the group consolidation process
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis
• Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE
