Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is recruiting a qualified accountant for a Dublin-based investment management client in the city centre. The role offers exposure to how a top asset manager operates and clear progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the industry and strong ambition for progression. You will own month-end activities, perform reconciliations, analyze results and collaborate with fund administrators to support audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Experience in investment management or fund administration desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Exposure to investment products is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Effective communicator with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations and financial close processes.
• Analyse financial results and investigate significant movements across monthly, quarterly and annual reporting periods.
• Reconcile investment activity across equities, fixed income, commodities and derivative products, ensuring transactions and balances are accurately reflected.
• Work closely with external fund administrators and provide information required for the annual audit process.
• Partner with teams across Finance, Operations, Middle Office and Investor Relations to resolve issues and deliver accurate reporting.
• Contribute to management reporting and assist with projects designed to improve financial processes and controls.

• Take ownership of month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations and financial close processes.
• Analyse financial results and investigate significant movements across monthly, quarterly and annual reporting periods.

Key Requirements
