Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Front-End Software Developer to join a growing technology team delivering innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experiences. You will design, develop and maintain modern web applications, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

While primarily front-end, you may contribute to API integration and full-stack tasks.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience with web technologies.
• Experience building and deploying modern web applications in a commercial environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications that deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, product teams and business stakeholders to implement intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
• Develop clean, maintainable and efficient code using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Integrate web applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development activities where required.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including setup guides, application documentation and API specifications.
