Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a skilled software professional for design, development and maintenance of scalable applications across front-end and back-end. You will collaborate with product, architecture and QA to translate requirements into technical specs and deliver secure APIs and integrated solutions.

The role involves implementing best practices, contributing to code reviews, and ensuring documentation covers code, architecture and user guidance for ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of software development best practices, design patterns and coding principles.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and libraries.
• Experience with back-end development frameworks (Node.js, Django, Spring) and API development (RESTful, GraphQL).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and data modelling.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps) and agile development methodologies (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure).
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve software issues and improve performance and scalability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Exposure to additional cloud, database or development technologies relevant to the role.
• Experience across both front-end and back-end development environments.

Responsibilities
