Job summary

ESW in Dublin is seeking a Senior Commercial Insights Analyst to join the FP&A team. You will work with senior decision-makers to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that shape profitability, pricing and forecasts across payments, shipping and client performance.

You will build models, test assumptions with cross-functional teams and drive higher-quality forecasting. The role blends rigorous analysis with commercial judgement in a hybrid, office-plus-home setting in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Hands-on analytical capability to access and interpret large, complex datasets.
• Sound commercial judgement with ability to connect analysis to business impact.
• Proven experience owning complex questions and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain findings simply.
• Curiosity and drive to ask why and uncover root causes.
• Ability to turn questions into structured analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets to identify drivers of client and business performance.
• Analyse commercial performance across client profitability, payments, shipping and costs.
• Assess new deals: pricing, profitability, assumptions and risks.
• Build models and scenarios to answer commercial questions for decisions.
• Translate analysis into clear conclusions and recommendations for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning with relevant drivers.
• Collaborate across teams and improve forecast quality and business cases.
• Prepare analyses for Executive Team and Board updates.
• Improve recurring reporting to deliver meaningful insights.
• Resolve data-quality issues to establish a reliable performance view.
