Job summary

The client seeks a Senior Fire & Security Systems Engineer for a field-based role in Ireland, based in Carlow with nationwide travel. This permanent position offers 40 hours per week with paid overtime.

You will install, service, and upgrade CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms, and emergency lighting, lead projects, and support junior engineers while ensuring health and safety compliance. Salary is 40,000–60,000 EUR DOE plus benefits.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Systems Engineer (South Africans) to join our client's growing team in Ireland

Location: Carlow (field-based role with nationwide travel)

Salary: €40,000 - €60,000 DOE + benefits

Requirements

• Electronic Security Systems Qualification or Electrical Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 or equivalent preferred)
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with paid overtime and on-call duties as required.
