Job summary

Zitko Group Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Security Systems Service Engineer to service, maintain and fault-find CCTV, access control and intruder systems across client sites. The role involves independent field work with direct customer interaction and ownership of issues through to resolution.

The position offers a permanent contract with a company vehicle, 25 days leave, pension and health benefits, and opportunities for ongoing training within a growing electronic security business.

Qualifications

• Previous service/maintenance experience in electronic security.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Good knowledge of CCTV, access control and intruder systems.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Relevant electronic/security qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain electronic security systems across client sites.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults across security systems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Complete repairs, remedial works and system adjustments.
• Advise customers on system operation and functionality.

Overview

Service Engineer opportunity with an established electronic security business in Ireland, focused on the service, maintenance and fault-finding of security systems across client sites.

This role will suit an experienced engineer who is comfortable working independently, dealing directly with customers and taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution.

The Role

• Service and maintain electronic security systems across client sites
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults across security systems
• Provide on-site and remote technical support
• Complete repairs, remedial works and system adjustments
• Advise customers on system operation and functionality
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with the wider engineering and operations team
• Participate in on-call support where required

Core Systems

Experience across:

• CCTV
• Access Control
• Intruder Alarms
• Integrated Security Systems

Enterprise-level systems experience would be advantageous, although strong service engineers from a solid electronic security background will also be considered.
