Job summary

The client seeks a Senior Fire & Security Systems Engineer for a field-based role in Ireland, based in Carlow with nationwide travel. This permanent position offers 40 hours per week with paid overtime.

You will install, service, and upgrade CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms, and emergency lighting, lead projects, and support junior engineers while ensuring health and safety compliance. Salary is 40,000–60,000 EUR DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Fire & Security industry experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, maintain, repair, and upgrade CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, fire alarm, and emergency lighting systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults.
• Manage projects and workloads independently.
• Support and guide junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry standards.
• Provide client demonstrations and technical support.
