Job summary

ICON Clinical Research in Dublin is seeking a Manager, Financial Business Partnering to drive financial planning, analysis and advisory support across the business in a hybrid role. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver insightful budgeting, forecasting and performance insights, translating complex numbers into actionable recommendations that shape strategic decisions.

The role demands strong collaboration across functions, robust finance knowledge, and the ability to mentor finance

Qualifications

• Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, financial analysis and performance.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the business and drive analytical problem-solving.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and a finance-related degree are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights for business strategy.
• Own budgeting, planning and forecasting processes aligned with objectives.
• Provide ongoing financial analysis highlighting trends, opportunities and risks for senior stakeholders.
• Build relationships with department heads to develop tailored financial solutions.
• Mentor Finance colleagues to support performance and development.
