Job summary

ICON plc in Dublin is seeking an experienced Supervisor of Finance Business Partnering to lead the finance partnering function, delivering timely reporting, budgeting and strategic insights for clinical projects.

You will mentor the team, implement robust controls, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support senior leadership in decision making.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CPA/CFA is a plus.
Significant experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting in pharma/clinical research is preferred.
Strong leadership with experience managing teams and cross‑functional collaboration.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the finance business partnering team, ensuring timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for clinical trials and projects.
Collaborate with project management, clinical operations, and senior leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
Implement and monitor financial controls and best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote development and continuous improvement.
Analyze financial performance metrics to identify improvements and drive efficiency.
