Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization recruiting a Supervisor, Finance Business Partnering in Dublin. The role oversees the finance business partnering function to provide strategic financial support for clinical projects.

The successful candidate will lead a team, deliver timely reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive commercial and project success.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years PQE.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and strategic financial planning.
• Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and managing the finance business partnering team with timely, accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting for clinical trials and projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Implementing and monitoring financial controls to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Providing training and mentorship to team members to foster professional development.
• Analyzing financial performance and trends to identify improvements and create strategies.
