Job summary

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation with a Dublin-based finance leadership opening. The Manager, Finance will oversee day-to-day financial management for clinical projects, guiding a team to deliver quality outcomes in a hybrid environment.

You will drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasts while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards, and partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Significant experience in finance management, preferably within the healthcare or clinical research sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel as required (~5%).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and financial management activities for clinical projects.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes and drive process improvements.
