I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a large, complex and high-profile organisation in Dublin at Senior Manager level.

This is a senior commercial finance role with significant exposure to leadership and key decision-makers across the business. The successful candidate will act as a trusted finance partner, providing commercial challenge, financial insight and strategic support across a significant area of the organisation.

The role will suit an experienced finance professional who is comfortable operating beyond the numbers – someone who can challenge senior stakeholders, influence decision-making and translate complex financial information into clear commercial actions.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Acting as a senior finance partner to business leaders, providing commercial and strategic financial support
• Challenging business opportunities and investment decisions from a risk and return perspective
• Taking ownership of financial performance across key business areas
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and longer-term business planning
• Identifying performance gaps and working with senior stakeholders to develop corrective actions
• Providing high-quality financial analysis and insight to support strategic and commercial decisions
• Presenting financial performance, recommendations and key issues to senior leadership
• Working across Finance to ensure a joined-up approach between Business Partnering, FP&A and Financial Reporting
• Supporting a strong financial governance and control environment

About you

You will be a qualified accountant with 10+ years’ experience and a strong background in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A.

You will bring:

• Significant post-qualified experience within a complex organisation
• Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to constructively challenge senior stakeholders
• Excellent financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience
• A track record of influencing business decisions through financial insight
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility at senior level
• The ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment
