Job summary

Spot Recruitment supports a global leader in healthcare and clinical research by appointing a finance professional focused on FP&A and commercial finance.You will lead planning, forecasting and budgeting, delivering monthly packs and strategic insights to senior operational stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong analytical and modelling skills, advanced Excel, and experience in business partnering. Leadership experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with FP&A or Commercial Finance experience.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leadership teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Prepare monthly reporting packs with commercial insights into revenue, margins and costs.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership and support business case evaluation.
• Mentor and lead finance team members where applicable.

• Commercially focused leadership role partnering directly with senior operational stakeholders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
• Leading financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, with monthly reporting packs and commercial insight into revenue, margin and cost drivers.
• Acting as trusted advisor to senior leadership, supporting business case evaluation and leading/mentoring finance team members.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with strong experience in Financial Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leadership teams, backed by strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, strong commercial awareness, and previous leadership or people management experience advantageous.
