Job summary

TOM People, on behalf of a growing Irish organisation, seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst in Dublin to join a expanding finance function. The role spans FP&A, modelling, forecasting, commercial analysis, BI and treasury, delivering insights for strategic decision-making.

You will build and maintain financial models, support the rolling forecast, produce management reports, and develop Power BI dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5+ years' FP&A experience.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis and business cases.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, commentary and Board reporting.
• Support the rolling forecast process and scenario analysis.
• Support cash flow forecasting and planning.
• Reconcile financial models to accounting records and maintain controls.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and data quality.
• Provide commercial analysis to support pricing and investment decisions.
• Present insights to senior stakeholders.

We’re partnering with a high profile and growing Irish organisation to appoint a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its expanding finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across FP&A, financial modelling, forecasting, commercial analysis, BI and treasury.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing high-quality analysis and insight to support both operational and strategic decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis and business cases
• Producing monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, commentary and Board reporting
• Supporting the rolling forecast process and carrying out scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Supporting cash flow forecasting and planning
• Reconciling financial models to accounting records and maintaining strong controls and documentation
• Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve financial processes
• Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and working with tech teams to improve data quality
• Providing commercial analysis to support pricing, investment and operational decisions
• Presenting clear and commercially focused insights to senior stakeholders

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5+ years' relevant experience across FP&A
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
• Proven experience across budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
• A proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach
