Job summary

Vickerstock is partnering with a leading construction contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator for their pre-construction team in Dublin. You will own complex tenders from enquiry to submission, working with Pre-Construction, Commercial, Design and Operations teams to develop competitive bids.

The role focuses on cost plans, tender analyses and identification of commercial risks, with value engineering support and a clear path for career progression within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years estimating experience in a main contractor environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of complex tenders.
• Review tender documentation and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and tender analyses.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, including negotiations.
• Work closely with Pre-Construction, Commercial, Design and Operations teams throughout the tender process.
• Support value engineering exercises to ensure competitive and commercially viable tenders.
• Assist tender handovers to operations.

Senior Estimator - Dublin

Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with a leading construction contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team in Dublin. This is an opportunity for an experienced Estimator to take ownership of complex tender opportunities, working closely with Pre-Construction, Commercial, Design and Operations teams to develop accurate, competitive and commercially sound bids across a range of construction projects.
