Job summary

Ward Personnel in Dublin is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead its estimating function. The role covers pricing general contracting work from €2m to €25m across schools, industrial, warehousing and food processing, as well as residential schemes.

You will set up estimating processes, collaborate with a growing commercial team, and report directly to the Managing Director. The role offers hybrid working and significant influence on which jobs the business pursues.

Qualifications

• Proven track record pricing competitive tenders for a main contractor or developer
• Experience in residential, education, industrial or commercial sectors
• Able to price from first principles and manage subcontractor enquiries and adjudication
• Driven to win and bring in work

A highly ambitious Dublin based developer is looking for a Senior Estimator to lead its estimating function. The company has 40 people and a strong pipeline. You'll report directly to the Managing Director.

The work

• Price and win general contracting work from €2m to €25m across schools, industrial, warehousing and food processing
• Price the company's own residential schemes, from apartment blocks to high-end one-off homes
• Set up estimating processes, systems and standards from the ground up
• Work alongside a growing commercial team

What you'll bring

• A proven track record pricing competitive tenders for a main contractor or developer
• Experience in at least one of: residential, education, industrial or commercial
• Confidence building prices from first principles and managing subcontractor enquiries and adjudication
• An appetite to win. This role is judged on work brought in the door.
