The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 3+ years of estimating experience or 5+ years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The position offers a salary of €110k – €115k DOE, along with benefits including a company car, pension, and an excellent benefits package.

• 3+ years of experience as an estimator for a main building contractor or 5+ years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to move into estimating.

Responsibilities

Senior Estimator required for a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor to work in Cork City on a variety of Commercial, Residential, Pharma and Industrial Projects.

Duties

• Estimator will ne to be able to analyse and evaluate tender documentation, encompassing drawings and specifications.
• Develop presentations for internal tender reviews.
• Estimator will be required to participate in site visits to assess new projects during the bidding process.
• Employ estimating software to generate pricing packages for consultants, subcontractors, and materials.

Requirements

• 3rd level degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering required.
• 3+ Years of experience as an estimator for a main building contractor.
• Or 5+ Years experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to move into Estimating.
