Job summary

John Paul Construction is recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Advisor for a Dublin-based role. You will implement and monitor the EHS Management System and promote a strong safety culture across site teams, contractors, and workers.

With 8+ years in health and safety and a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred, you will influence best-practice standards, coordinate inspections, and sustain collaborative relationships within the project team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in health and safety roles.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office and databases.
• Excellent team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the company’s EHS Management System on the project

• Promote a positive health and safety culture on site with site management, contractors, and workers

• Monitor EHS compliance on site and generate weekly inspections and reports

• Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team

• Influence and coach the site team in implementing best-practice EHS standards

• Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)

• 8+ years’ experience in health and safety roles

• Previous construction experience preferred

• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications

• Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
