Job summary

John Paul Construction Limited in Dublin seeks a Senior Site Engineer to lead setting out, supervision and coordination on-site for civil/construction projects. You will ensure QA, safety and information management are integrated into daily activities; liaising with design teams and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements include a relevant degree, main contractor experience and proficiency with GPS/robotic total station, levelling equipment, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field and solid on-site experience with main contractors.
• Experience on construction/civil projects such as pharma, datacentre, hi-tech, distribution or warehousing.
• Proficient use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment; strong IT skills with AutoCAD/Revit/Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Set out, monitor and coordinate works on site to meet project objectives including QA and design information.
• Daily liaison with project team, design team and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
• Monitor materials, plant and logistics; document and report progress.
• Implement QA procedures, including pour checks, RFIs and technical issue resolution.
• Maintain records and reporting; uphold safe working practices on site.
• Support project team with on-site technical issues and coordination.

Due to continued expansion, we require a Senior Site Engineer for a role based inDublin

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver the project objectives including the areas of H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.
• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues
• Record keeping and reporting
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.

Requirements

• Relevant Third level Degree
• Previous Main Contractor experience
• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech,Distribution,Warehouse)
• Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
• Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
