Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a Dublin-based role. You will be responsible for setting out, coordinating, and monitoring works on site, liaising with project teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery of objectives.

The role requires a relevant level degree and 5+ years in a similar position, with experience in Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution and Warehouse projects. Proficiency in GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Previous Main Contractor experience.
• Experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Distribution, Warehouse).
• Proficient in GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment.
• Excellent IT skills – AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver project objectives incl. H&S, QA and Design interface.
• Daily liaison with project team, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant and logistics.
• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFIs and resolving technical issues.
• Record keeping and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining safe working practices on site.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate setting out, monitoring and coordinating of works on site to deliver the project objectives including the areas of H&S, Technical and Design, Information Management and Quality.

• Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors

• Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics

• Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues

• Record keeping and reporting

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.

• Relevant Third level Degree

• 5+years experiencein a similar role

• Previous Main Contractor experience

• Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech,Distribution,Warehouse)
