Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Advisor based in Dublin to lead the EHS efforts on our projects and foster a safety-first culture on site.

You will implement the EHS Management System, drive compliance through regular inspections, and coach site teams. A recognised EHS degree or NEBOSH Diploma with 8+ years' experience in construction is required, along with strong IT skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH Diploma preferred).
• 8+ years’ experience in health and safety roles.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Excellent team player with collaborative ability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the company’s EHS Management System on the project.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture on site with site management, contractors, and workers.
• Monitor EHS compliance on site and generate weekly inspections and reports.
• Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
• Influence and coach the site team in implementing best-practice EHS standards.
