Job summary

MiFinity, a fast-growing fintech with offices in Ireland, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth by winning enterprise clients and platform partners globally.

The role requires a hunter mindset, payments expertise, and the ability to lead negotiations, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue across ecommerce, marketplaces, and financial services. Travel may be international as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BD, sales or commercial roles.
• 5+ years in payments/fintech or open banking/financial services.
• Proven experience selling payout/disbursement or payment infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital services, marketplaces, or subscriptions.
• Experience managing enterprise negotiations and sales cycles.
• Existing network in payments/fintech or digital commerce ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, travel-ready.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Hunter mindset with revenue focus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and acquire new merchants and strategic partners across targeted industries and regions.
• Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution and onboarding.
• Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets and new business goals.
• Develop and execute market expansion strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations and end-to-end sales cycles.
• Build strong relationships with merchants, payment partners, PSPs, acquirers, and stakeholders.
• Represent MiFinity at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and BD teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
• Provide market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
