Job summary

Datavant Ireland, a Galway-based R&D technology center, is seeking an Enterprise Application Support Engineer. You will ensure reliability and performance for enterprise apps and cloud platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive automation and process improvement.

The role requires deep cloud, data integration, and scripting skills, with collaboration across engineering, product, and customer success teams. A hybrid work environment is offered in Galway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 3+ years developing solutions using Python.
• 2+ years supporting cloud-based apps on AWS/Azure.
• 1+ year in customer-facing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex issues with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents across APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
• Investigate defects, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures across micro-service platforms.
• Perform RCA and work with core teams to implement long-term fixes.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability to identify risks and optimize operations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration during incidents and escalations.
