Job summary

Google’s YouTube Monetization team seeks a Senior Engineering Analyst to advance trust and safety, designing scalable enforcement workflows and integrating AI/LLM technologies. You will analyze large datasets, write complex SQL and Python, and collaborate with engineering, product, and policy partners to balance creator opportunities with robust brand safety.

You are a proactive problem-solver with 5+ years in trust & safety or data analysis, a quantitative degree, and ML/AI experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in Trust & Safety / data analysis role.
• Experience constructing SQL queries and analyzing datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable enforcement workflows, models, and technical solutions from scratch to protect the YouTube monetization ecosystem.
• Co-develop product protections and integrate Generative AI/LLMs with partner engineers.
• Write complex SQL and Python code to extract and analyze high-volume product metadata and compute classifier performance metrics.
• Perform anti-abuse investigations and deep-dive data analyses to identify system gaps and mitigations.
• Translate complex technical concepts and data insights into recommendations for leadership and cross-functional strategies.
