Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
Trust and Safety's Creator Experience Team works to help Creators make it on YouTube by providing a consistent and clear policy experience, protecting ad business, enforcing guidelines on brand unsafe content and aligning with industry standards. We work to improve the practical elements of Creator experiences such as making video appeals easier, explanations for demonetization more detailed and turnaround times faster as well as ensuring policy launches are more seamless - and above all easier to access and understand. This team focuses on making the experience of being a Creator better, through ensuring that business generation policy is something that's easily understood, that is open to change and that reflects the ever-changing world of the Creator ecosystem. We work to make the Advertiser-friendly content guidelines a set of rules that Creators can live with, as well as live by.
