Job summary

Google Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst for YouTube Monetization to design and implement scalable enforcement workflows, leveraging AI/LLM technologies and data analytics to protect the monetization ecosystem.

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Trust and Safety teams, balancing creator opportunities with advertiser safety, and translating complex analyses into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years in Trust and Safety, anti-abuse, security engineering, or data analysis.
• Experience constructing SQL queries and data extraction to analyze datasets.
• Experience designing, testing, and implementing technical solutions and workflows.
• Experience working with AI/LLM technologies or ML models.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable enforcement workflows, models, and technical solutions from scratch to protect the YouTube monetization ecosystem.
• Co-develop product protections and integrate Generative AI/LLMs with partner engineers.
• Write complex SQL and Python code to extract and analyze high-volume product metadata.
• Perform anti-abuse investigations and deep-dive data analyses to identify system gaps and mitigations.
• Translate complex technical concepts and data insights into recommendations for leadership across cross-functional strategies.
• Drive outcomes for multiple adjacent technical projects, managing priorities and resources.
