Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Senior HR Advisor – Employee Relations to join a growing services organisation. You will manage a varied caseload and advise managers on ER/IR matters, employment policy, and compliance within a unionised environment.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will support approximately 3,000 employees nationwide, contribute to policies, and assist with TUPE, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance processes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law.
• Proven experience managing ER/IR cases.
• Experience in a services industry and in a unionised environment.
• Ability to work independently and handle a broad caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, absence, performance, and grievance processes.
• Provide expert guidance on employment legislation and HR policy.
• Liaise with trade unions and support TUPE, redundancy, and layoff processes.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation; collaborate with the legal team.
• Contribute to ongoing HR policy development and best practices.
