Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Dublin operations team on a major live data centre project for a global technology client. This site-based role requires strong electrical project management experience across M&E, with responsibility for delivery from planning to handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical project management within M&E contracting or similar
• Experience delivering large electrical projects from construction to handover
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and site installation
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and stakeholders
• Ability to manage programme, procurement, RFIs, submittals and risks
• Strong commercial awareness and collaboration with QS and commercial teams
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements on live construction projects
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced delivery-led site environment
• Ireland work eligibility without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of electrical works on a major Dublin-based data centre project
• Manage site teams, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Drive programme delivery and identify risks early
• Collaborate with Project QS on commercial performance and reporting
• Support procurement planning, submittals and RFIs
• Review design information and resolve buildability and installation issues
• Chair project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors and client representatives
• Monitor labour, materials and resources for efficient delivery
• Ensure compliance with quality, commissioning and handover requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Uphold health, safety, quality and environmental standards
