Job summary

NRL is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical (Data Centres) to lead electrical services design in Dublin for complex data centre projects from concept to completion.

Based in Dublin, you will mentor junior engineers, develop detailed electrical building services, and oversee tender preparation while ensuring standards compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering required; Chartered status advantageous.
• 10+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer in electrical building services.
• Proven track record in electrical design for Data Centres; familiar with ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, EN standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical services design for Data Centre projects, ensuring high standards.
• Develop and specify electrical building services for diverse sectors.
• Prepare detailed schematics, reports and technical documents; maintain design standards.
• Mentor and support junior engineers throughout projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical services design for projects, ensuring high standards are met.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Chartered Engineer accreditation.
