Job summary

Glanua Limited is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team at Head Office in Loughrea. The role focuses on preparing detailed electrical estimates from drawings and tender docs, while actively participating in design development to optimise buildability and cost.

You will ensure governance, risk management and robust cost modelling across tender processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating in water infrastructure, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with estimating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in relevant sectors.
• Experience in water/wastewater or related infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability.
• Good communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in estimating software and digital take-off tools.

Responsibilities

• Estimate preparation based on drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Participate in design development to assess buildability and install methods.
• Ensure risk, governance and approvals are followed with clear assumptions.
• Assist tender preparation and resource planning.
• Develop procurement plans and evaluate quotations for pricing.
• Maintain awareness of sector developments and cost modelling.
