Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy delivering M&E design projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, conservation, and public sectors. The successful candidate will lead electrical design activities, support project delivery, mentor junior engineers, and maintain high technical and client service standards.

Based in Ireland, the role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least six years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience across increasingly complex projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design and analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide technical expertise.
• Develop detailed electrical plans, specifications and drawings.
• Oversee the full electrical design process.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers and wider teams.
• Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate electrical systems within overall project designs.
• Resolve technical issues and optimise designs for efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Contribute to innovative design solutions and improvements.
