Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our M&E design team. You will lead detailed electrical design work, coordinate with project teams, and support delivery across residential, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate has a relevant electrical engineering degree and at least five years of industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. AutoCAD and Revit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Third‑level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare schematic and coordinated layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or Revit for 3D modelling.
• Prepare schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and technical reports.
• Support the preparation of contract documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements.
• Provide general project support as required.

My client is a well-established and highly respected M&E Design Consultancy currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to gain hands‑on experience in design, technical coordination, and project delivery within a collaborative and professional environment. The successful candidate will join a busy team involved in the design, project management, and construction supervision of a wide variety of building projects across the residential, healthcare, commercial, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle
