Job summary

Suir Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the EP&R project team in the Leinster region. The role focuses on developing and reviewing schematics, HV studies, and commissioning of substations within a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate will have a third-level degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in HV energy/renewables, strong communication, and the ability to lead on-site technical activities and coordinate with the wider design

Qualifications

Third level degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in HV energy/renewables.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage on-site technical queries and coordinate with design teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and review schematics and single line diagrams.
Perform HV system studies including protection coordination and fault level reports.
Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS substations.
Prepare technical specifications and enquiry documentation.
Lead on-site technical queries and coordinate with clients and contractors.
Prepare programs and schedules using MS Project.
