The Ardilaun Hotel is seeking an experienced Senior Duty Manager to join our team in Galway. The successful candidate will have previous experience in hotel management, with strong Food & Beverage experience being essential to support our operations.

Responsibilities include leading day-to-day hotel operations, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.

Aufgaben

• Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel operation.
• Foster a welcoming, professional and hospitable environment for all guests.
• Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, implementing improvements where required to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all staff conduct themselves in accordance with the hotel's SOPs, policies and service standards.
• Direct and support the team across all operational departments in their day-to-day duties.
• Provide strong leadership and maintain a visible presence on the floor, taking a hands-on approach to hotel operations.
• Provide strong operational support to the Food & Beverage departments, ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation and guest experience.
• Take responsibility for operational decision-making during assigned shifts and ensure any issues are resolved efficiently and appropriately.
• Monitor standards across the hotel, including guest areas, bedrooms, Food & Beverage outlets and public areas.
• Support the training, development and performance of team members, providing guidance and feedback where required.
• Ensure effective communication between departments and provide clear handovers to the management team.
• Ensure all health & safety, fire safety, licensing and hotel procedures are adhered to during each shift.
• Complete daily operational checks and follow up on any issues identified.
