The Ardilaun Hotel in Galway is seeking a friendly Front of House Porter to join our team. You will help with event setups for banquets, conferences and weddings, greet guests, and maintain a welcoming front of house area.

Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service, fluent English, and the ability to work independently with initiative. Weekend and night shifts are required as part of a flexible schedule; you will be supported by a team in a family-owned hotel with leisure club access.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for setting up for events such as banquets, conferences, and weddings.
• Greet and assist guests as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures and carry out fire and security checks
• Provide room and lobby service as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized front of house area, including the lobby, and dining areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Front of House Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front of house areas and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Formerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference center, wedding venue and leisure club facilities. It is independently owned and operated by the Ryan family, having celebrated 64 years in business recently. Nestled in Galway's suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylor's Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting.
