Job summary

The Ardilaun Hotel in Galway City, Ireland seeks an Accommodation Assistant to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across bedrooms and public spaces.

You will service guest rooms to a very high standard, manage linen and towels, and work with the team to ensure safety, security, and excellent service. Benefits include leisure access, meals on duty, parking, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or cleaning roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for servicing guests’ bedrooms to a very high standard.
• Maintaining a high level of hygiene in bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Collecting, distributing, and replenishing clean linen and towels throughout the hotel.
• Removing used linen and ensuring it is returned to the laundry area.
• Working within the team to deliver high attention to detail across all areas.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and security standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service in every guest interaction.
• Ability to follow a schedule and work independently when required.

The Ardilaun hotel is recruiting an Accommodation Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the hotel.

Formerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference center, wedding venue and leisure club facilities. It is independently owned and operated by the Ryan family, having celebrated 64 years in business recently. Nestled in Galway’s suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylor’s Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting.
