Job summary

Google Ireland is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and coach a high-performing Dutch sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand advertisers’ needs and deliver measurable digital advertising solutions that grow their businesses.

You will guide relationships with high-potential SMBs in the Netherlands, set objectives with the sales leadership team, drive day-to-day operations, and ensure the team hits ambitious business goals while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• /Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience/
• /11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies/
• /Experience in people management leading sales teams in the Netherlands/
• /Fluent Dutch communication to engage with clients in the region/
• /8+ years of experience managing relationships with customers, agencies, and partners at executive level/
• /Experience in SMB sales in the Netherlands/
• /Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and e-commerce dynamics/
• /Ability to coach sales behaviors including executive engagement and objection handling/
• /Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and solve problems/

Responsibilities

• Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team for the Netherlands market.
• Deliver against ambitious business and product goals, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
• Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity.
• Provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent customer relationship management tracking.
• Model and coach sales behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged offerings.
• Ensure team readiness to deliver advertising solutions and foster advertiser success on the team.
